NEWBURY, Ohio, January 19, 2009 - Punderson Manor State Park Resort in northeast Ohio will premiere its CSI (Comedy Scene Investigation) Mystery Weekend package "Dyeing for Profit" March 20-22, 2009. The package includes two nights of lodging, reception, one lunch, one brunch and one dinner.
This mystery and comedy weekend begins at the opening reception when 96-year-old recluse Harold E. Dunderblot calls together his family, friends and acquaintances for a weekend at his private estate to make a very important announcement concerning Dunderblot's Incorporated, the company he founded which produces dyes for fabrics, foods and cosmetics. Naturally, a crime is committed by one of a cast of colorful characters, and the weekend continues as participants attempt to unravel the mystery. Everyone gathers for Sunday brunch when the CSI characters present the solution to the story and a certificate and prize are awarded to the "super sleuth."
The rates for the package are $235 plus tax per adult for accommodations in a standard double room based on double occupancy or $210 plus tax per adult for a hillside cottage with a minimum quad occupancy. Upgrades are available at an additional cost.
