What is the best part about a Punderson Lodge getaway?
Punderson Manor Lodge & Conference Center is located in the natural splendor of Punderson State Park and is only 50 minutes southeast of Cleveland. The park’s history dates back over 12,000 years to the Ice Age when the area was buried under glacial ice. Punderson Lake, one of Ohio’s few natural lakes, owes its origin to this massive ice sheet. It is a kettle lake which means it was formed when a large block of ice broke off the glacier creating a depression in the land, which was filled with melted water from the glacier. Punderson is the largest and deepest kettle lake in Ohio.
Diverse Natural Wonders
The aquatic environment of the lake, combined with the surrounding woodlands, gives Punderson a diverse array of natural wonders. The lake is home to a variety of shorebirds and waterfowl including great blue herons, Canadian geese and wood ducks. Ohio’s largest rodent, the beaver can also be spotted around the lake. Great horned owls, white-tailed deer, opossum and raccoons can be found within the park boundaries. In the park, the vegetation is as diverse as the animal population. Wild geranium, buttercups, blue-eyed grass and pennywort are just a few of the wildflowers that inhabit the area.

AAA Exclusive Dinner Package
Special offer available if booked through AAA Agents only and with valid IATA identification number. AAA members may not book this on their own. Package includes overnight lodging in a double or double view room, and 2 dinner coupons (valued at $20.00 each for a total of $40.00 value) to use toward dinner purchase in lodge restaurant. Blackout dates at all properties are: January 18 – 20, February 15 – 17, March 29, 30, May 24 – 26, July 1 – 7, August 30 – September 1, November 27 – 30, December 20 – 31, 2013.
Maximum of 2 units, per member discount per night. Some holidays and summer weekends require a two night stay. This package is available for one night only and the 2nd night may be booked on any other rate or package that shows available for the 2nd nights.
