West Side Story
Presented by the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.

Punderson Classic Dog Sled Races
The Friends of Punderson present the 2012 Punderson Classic Dog Sled Races. The event is held at the golf course and is sponsored by the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Cleveland. This event is open to the public and spectators are advised to dress warmly. General parking is at the Punderson State Park beach and guests need to walk one-half mile from the beach parking area to the race viewing at the golf course. Snacks and warm refreshments, including hot dogs and chili, will be available at the golf course Pro Shop.
